She is survived by her sons Jason and Bart Clapp of Elma, WA, Gordon Clapp of Jacksonville, NC, Matt Clapp Auburn, WA, Dan Clapp of Golden Valley, AZ, and Ed Clapp of Edmonton, AB. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Ellen also dearly loved and enjoyed her siblings and family in Canada. She was preceded in death by sisters Mary and Shirley and brothers; Jim, Art and Thomas. She also dearly loved her many nephews and nieces.

Ellen enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved playing darts, horseshoes, cornhole, scratch tickets, cards and games. She loved the days spending time at the ocean with her late husband and family. She enjoyed the long walks on the beach and sitting around the campfire. She and her husband travelled to Oklahoma and across Canada in their motorhome, visiting their families and having the time of their lives. She reminisced regularly about the moments she had. Ellen was loved by many and she touched everyone she knew or met with her personality. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 5th 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Edline & Yahn Covington Funeral Chapel in Kent, WA and then will be laid to rest, shortly after, beside her husband B.J. at Hillcrest Burial Park.
