Be aware during National Poison Prevention Week

More than 2 million poisonings are reported yearly to the nation’s poison control centers, which can be reached through the Poison Help line, 800-222-1222. Established in 1961, National Poison Prevention Week is observed during the third week of March every year and was established to focus national attention on the dangers of poisonings and how to prevent them.
