Lynda Lee Anderson

Lynda Lee Anderson passed away peacefully in Olympia, WA, on January 22nd, 2022. Lynda was born on July 31st, 1940, in Twin Falls, Idaho and lived there until after she graduated from high school.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Anderson of Hoodsport, daughter Kimberly Schuur of Puyallup, son Layne Anderson (Adja Martin)of Tacoma, four grandchildren, Jamie (Jon) Tax, Melanie (Daniel) Knoben, Stephanie (Fischer) Stewart, and James M. Anderson (Kelly Brennan), all of Puyallup, and one sister-in-law Jo Sikes of Tampa, Florida. She leaves four great-grandchildren, Aeden Tax, Cole Tax, Michael Jester, and Olivia June Anderson. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Art and Vivian Sikes, her sister Myrna (Billie) Dodge, and brother Jack Sikes.

Her career was in office work and she managed two moving and storage businesses in Lakewood, WA prior to retirement. Lynda loved to camp out and travel in their RV, snowbird down south in the winter, and enjoyed several ship cruises during her retirement, her favorite pastime while at home was watching Hallmark movies and watching the deer and golfers outside their home. Her husband and have been residents of Mason County for over 25 years, living in both Lilliwaup, and then Hoodsport.

Lynda Lee Sikes Anderson was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

A service will be held at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington, at a date yet to be determined.
