Children lead the way as about 100 people marched in the annual Mason County Overdose Awareness Walk from Kneeland Park into downtown Shelton on Aug. 31. Another march was held on Sept. 1 that started from the Belfair Timberland Library. Both events offered resource fairs and were part of the globally observed Overdose Awareness Day. Jamie Ellertsen organized the event.
