Dr. Dean Gushee, the chief medical officer at Mason Health, is retiring after 30 years with the organization. Gushee's retirement is effective at the end of the year. Tahuya and North Belfair residents suffered phone and internet outages Tuesday, after thieves removed copper wiring in the area, according to the Mason County Sheriff’s Office.
