Fantasy turns reality
To the delight of Shelton's Kippy (Goodwin) Dalton (near) and a couple hundred other luncheon-goers, the Mason General Hospital Foundation kicks off its 12th annual Fantasy
Forest yuletide fund-raiser Wednesday morning in The Pavilion at Sentry Park. A fashion-show affair, the opening event gave way to a series of attractions there running through Saturday.

New sign honoring vets unveiled in Allyn
Several folks turned out in Allyn this past Saturday for the unveiling of a new sign honoring veterans. Members of the crowd can be seen here next to the new sign which
sits next to the Allyn Historic Church along State Route 3. The idea for the sign came from Vietnam veteran Michael O'Sullivan of Allyn. It is hoped that the three-foot by six-foot sign will serve as the site of memorials to veterans.
The sign itself was donated by Jesfield Construction and the Allyn Community Association has promised to maintain it.
