Boys and Girls Club to host plunge Saturday
The 12th annual Polar Plunge to benefit the North Mason branch of the Boys and Girls Club is set to get under way at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 20, at the Allyn Waterfront Park. The event, which features sponsored "plungers," is
one of the club's largest fund-raisers, bringing in over $17,000 last year alone. Hot drinks and donuts, courtesy of the North Mason Lions Club, will be available during the event. There will also be a live musical performance by the
popular band the Windjammers.
