Boogie nights?
Nah, just the one and hundreds made the most of it, too, as little Christmastown came out in throngs for a yuletide tradition of Shelton's annual Christmas Parade.

Wayward pelican makes waves on Hood Canal
Pelicans are rarely seen on Hood Canal, but Mark Warren spotted one hanging out and munching on a salmon at the Skokomish Tribe's Enatai Hatchery just south of Potlatch State Park
on November 28 and snapped the above photo. A tribal biologist said these days pelicans are showing up more and more on the Washington coast, Warren told The Journal .
