Phil Pugh
returns and
picks up first win
North
Mason head football coach Phil Pugh made his debut Friday
night after 10 years away from the sidelines and led his team
to a 26-0 shutout against the Chimacum Cowboys. Pugh, who
is seen here giving his players instructions during a break
in the action, is the only coach that has ever led the Bulldogs
to a state title, which he did in 1984 when the team was still
playing in the 2-A ranks instead of 3-A. See page 3 for more
on Pugh's return, the shutout and the team's prospects.
