The Mason County Journal is published weekly, every Thursday, and has a paid circulation of approximately 8,000. The Journal is located at 227 W. Cota Street in downtown Shelton.
The Mason County Journal is a member of Washington Newspaper Publishers Association and the Shelton-Mason County Chamber of Commerce. It is owned and operated by Shelton-Mason County Journal, Inc.
The Mason County Journal is also the owner and publisher of the Belfair Herald.
Paid subscriptions are available for in-county delivery (via USPS) for $37 per year. Single copies may be purchased for $1 at a number of local convenience stores, grocery chains, and other authorized vendors in Mason County.
Regular office hours are 8:00 AM to 5 PM M-F with the exception of national holidays including New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
